Popped in on a Saturday afternoon and had a nice meal.the staff are very friendly and the food was lovely. What I like most of all is that you have a lovely hot coffee.
Just had a full English breakfast and a coffee. First time here and now, not the last. The breakfast is highly recommended, probably one of the best in Derby. Staff were pleasant and efficient. Price is very reasonable too.
Visited for the first time today and very pleased with the staff, establishment and food that I received. There is a large menu of excellent priced food and even an OAP menu which you dont see in the main food hall in the Derbion. There are clean toilets and the staff are well dressed
Classic old school UK food. Very tasty. Good value. Nice, friendly staff. Haute quisine this is not, just decent proper food. Good choice. I had gammon and chips which came with salad, a bottle of water, and a hot chocolate. All for 16. Good sized portions too. Lovely.
Wonderful old school cafe serving home made style food. Meal very hot, probably the end of the cottage pie for me but tasted nice. Fairly priced. Staff are bloody lovely, smiling and holding doors open for disabled etc. Attracts the older crowd moreso than the processed food yearning younger generations. Definitely recommended looking around the room at other plates. Nice atmosphere too.
Had 'The Monty' because it included a drink but it is a massive meal so go in hungry 23-06-24 Fresh hot food, cheerful staff, calm atmosphere.
Walked past this place no end of times but went in today for some breakfast. Me and the wife both had a full English. Absolutely delicious. Great service, lovely staff, served quickly and freshly cooked. Will be back soon!
